Electric Tailgate Retrofit Kit for the GAC Trumpchi GA6 II (Mk2)
Second-generation GA6 owners get a powered boot with this bolt-on kit. The gas springs come out, two electric actuators go in, and a control module adds key, switch and foot-sensor commands along with a damped final latch pull.
Generation-Specific Fitment
This set is prepared for the GA6 II (Mk2) body rather than the first generation. Hinge brackets follow the Mk2 bolt pattern and the harness is cut to the Mk2 boot loom length, so the install does not need adapter plates or extended wiring. Buyers running the earlier GA6 should ask for the separate reference.

Workshop Notes
Rear parcel shelf trim and the boot side panels clip out with plastic tools. Factory ball studs are reused, bracket bolts are torqued to 22 Nm, and the module is mounted on the inner quarter panel clear of the drain channel. A first-time installation runs about 100 minutes; the self-learn sequence is described step by step in the printed manual.
Logistics
One set per carton, 76 x 21 x 18 cm, actuators sleeved in EPE and hardware bagged by side. Six cartons per master carton; pallet loading on request. We can print buyer part numbers and barcodes on the carton, and neutral packaging is available for resellers.
Quality Control
Every actuator is cycled with a simulated 26 kg lid load before packing. Modules are checked against the Mk2 firmware, and a sample from each batch is run through a 500-cycle stress test. Faulty units inside the warranty window are replaced against photos of the failure.
