Remote control power tail door lift gate open retrofitThe GWM Tank 300 is a body on frame off roader with a side hinged tail door that often carries a full size spare wheel from the factory. That door is one of the heaviest in its class, and the gas struts lose authority fast once the car is used on corrugations, sand or in sub zero weather. Owners end up lowering the panel with two hands while holding a child or a tool bag, and the latch absorbs the impact each time.
This kit replaces the struts with two heavy duty motorised actuators built for the loaded door, keeps the original hinge and striker, and hides a controller behind the rear trim. Opening and closing come from the factory smart key, the tail door button and a switch on the dashboard, with no drilling, no welding and no cut in the factory harness.

Installation route
- Support the tail door with a prop, release both factory struts from the ball studs and keep the parts in the car.
- Bolt the forged brackets on and mount the heavy duty actuators in the original strut position.
- Run the harness through the tail gate grommet along the factory loom and connect the controller.
- Fit the dash switch, store the opening height, cycle twice and check the pinch reverse and park interlock.
Packing, service and trade terms
Each set ships in a reinforced carton with foam blocks, 92x28x26 cm, one set per carton, fasteners bagged by mounting position and a guide in English, Russian or Arabic. Every set is cycled on the bench and checked for force, current draw, park interlock and reverse response before sealing. Importers can order neutral cartons, private label printing, own part numbers and translated manuals, and actuators, controllers and switches are held in stock so warranty claims are closed without a long wait.
