The Haval Xiaolong, exported as the Jolion Max, is a newer compact SUV with a wide tail door and a high loading lip. Lower and mid trims still use gas struts and a manual handle, so owners who carry luggage, market stock or a folding pushchair have to free a hand to open and close the door. This conversion gives the car electric operation from the factory key, without any change to the body shell.
Two motorised actuators take over from the gas struts on the original ball studs, a controller is tucked behind the rear trim, and the harness uses the factory plug. Fitment is reversible, which matters for leasing companies and buyers who resell the vehicle.

◆Installation
- Support the tail door, release both factory struts from the ball studs and keep them with the vehicle.
- Bolt the brackets in place and mount the motorised actuators in the original strut position.
- Route the plug and play harness through the tail gate grommet and connect the controller.
- Fit the dash switch, store the height limit, cycle twice and confirm the pinch reverse.
◆Packing and commercial terms
Each set is packed with foam inserts in a printed carton of 81x23x22 cm, two sets to an export master carton, fasteners bagged by mounting position and a guide in English, Russian or Spanish. Every set is cycled on the bench for force, current draw and pinch response before sealing. Neutral cartons, private label printing, customer part numbers and translated manuals are available, and actuators, controllers and switches are stocked to keep warranty turnaround short.
