Electric Trunk Drive Back Door for the Haval Raptor
Power tail door lift gate retrofit · H7 / V7The Haval Raptor, listed in several markets as the H7 or V7, is a boxy off road styled SUV with a side hinged tail door and a vertical handle. Its rear panel is heavier than a family crossover door and often carries an accessory bracket, a light bar or a spare wheel mount, so the factory gas struts fade quickly once the car sees dust, altitude or cold. Owners respond by using both hands, and the latch takes the punishment.
This kit replaces the struts with two motorised actuators on the original ball studs, hides a controller behind the rear trim and connects through the factory plug. Opening and closing then come from the original smart key, the tail door button and a switch on the dashboard, with no drilling, no welding and no cutting of the factory wiring.

Fitting outline
- Prop the tail door and release both original struts from the ball studs, keeping the parts in the vehicle.
- Bolt the cast brackets on and fit the motorised actuators in the original strut orientation.
- Run the harness through the tail gate grommet beside the factory loom and plug in the controller.
- Fit the dash switch, store the height limit, cycle twice and check the pinch reverse and park interlock.
Packing, service and terms
Actuators are packed in EPE blocks inside a printed carton of 85x25x24 cm, one set per carton, fasteners bagged by mounting position and a guide in English, Russian or Spanish. Each set is cycled on the bench for force, current draw and reverse response before sealing. Importers can order neutral cartons, private label printing, own part numbers and translated manuals, and actuators, controllers and switches are held in stock so warranty cases are settled without delay.
