The Haval M6 built from 2017 to 2019 was aimed at families who wanted H6 space at a lower price, and it became a volume seller in Russia, South America and North Africa. Under the value trim, though, the tail door is still a heavy steel panel on plain gas struts, and the door is used constantly for school runs, market loading and airport pick ups. A tired strut means the panel drops on the shoulder, and in winter the lift becomes a two person job.
This kit swaps the two struts for motorised actuators that use the original ball studs and hinge points, adds a compact controller behind the rear trim and connects to the factory wiring with matching plugs. No drilling, no welding, no cutting of the original harness, and the car can be returned to stock in under an hour if needed.

Fitting guide
- Hold the tail door open and unclip the original struts from their ball studs, keeping the parts in the car.
- Screw the ball stud adaptors on and mount the motorised actuators in the same position as the struts.
- Feed the harness through the tail gate grommet next to the factory loom and plug in the controller.
- Fit the cabin switch, store the opening height, cycle the door twice and confirm the pinch stop works.
Packing and commercial terms
Each set is packed in a printed carton with shaped foam, single carton 79x22x20 cm, two sets to an export carton, fasteners separated by mounting position and an English, Russian or Spanish guide included. Every set is cycled on the bench and checked for force, current draw and pinch response before sealing. Distributors can order neutral cartons, private label printing, own part numbers and translated manuals; actuators, controllers and switches are kept in stock so a warranty claim is closed without a long wait.
