Electric Trunk Drive Back Door for the Haval H8 2014-2018
Remote control power tail door lift gate open retrofit · heavy duty actuator set
The Haval H8 is a full size seven seat SUV with a wide, tall tail door and a thick inner trim panel. Between 2014 and 2018 it was exported to Russia, Australia, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and Chile, and the great majority of those cars left the line with gas struts and a manual handle. A door of that size is awkward to lift with one hand and dangerous to let drop on a child or a dog, which is exactly the gap this retrofit fills.
Two heavy duty motorised actuators take the place of the original struts, driving from the factory remote, the tail door button and a switch on the dashboard. The hinge plates and latch striker are the original items, so the body shell is never drilled, welded or painted.

- Hold the tail door up, release the original struts from both ball studs and store them with the vehicle.
- Fit the galvanised hinge plates and mount the heavy duty actuators in the original strut position.
- Route the harness beside the factory loom through the tail gate grommet and plug the controller in.
- Mount the driver switch, record the opening height, cycle the door twice and test the pinch rebound.
Each set ships in a reinforced carton with foam blocks, 88x26x24 cm, one set per carton and two cartons to a master carton; fasteners are bagged by mounting position and the guide is printed in English, Russian or Arabic on request. Every set is load cycled on the bench and checked for current draw and rebound response before sealing. Importers can order neutral packing, private label cartons, own part numbers and translated manuals, and spare actuators, controllers and switches are held in stock.
