Remote control power tail door lift gate open retrofit
The Haval H6 Coupe built between 2015 and 2018 has a sloping rear glass and a comparatively heavy tail door, and many of the trims exported to Russia, Chile, Peru and the Gulf left the factory with gas struts and a manual handle only. Owners of these cars know the routine: prop the door with a shoulder, lift a bag, and let the panel fall until the latch catches. Our retrofit fits motorised actuators on the existing hinge and latch points and adds a controller, so the same door opens and closes from the original key.
The kit is built for the pre facelift Coupe body, where the hinge bracket and the strut ball stud position differ from the later H6 II and H6 III shells. Actuator force and the closing ramp are matched to the Coupe panel so the door rises without judder and meets the seal gently, and the harness follows the factory loom through the tail gate grommet without any wire being cut.

Installation order
- Support the tail door, release both original struts from the ball studs and keep them with the car.
- Bolt the brackets supplied on and fit the motorised actuators in the original strut position.
- Route the harness through the tail gate grommet beside the factory loom and connect the controller.
- Fit the cabin switch, store the opening height, cycle the door twice and test the anti pinch stop.
Packing, service and terms
Actuators are held in EPE inserts inside a printed carton of 81x23x22 cm, two sets to an export master carton, with fasteners bagged by mounting position and a guide in English, Russian or Spanish. Each set is cycled on the test bench for force, current draw and rebound before packing. Distributors can order neutral cartons, private label printing, own part numbers and translated manuals, and spare actuators, controllers and switches are stocked so a warranty case closes in days rather than weeks.
