Power tail door lift gate open retrofit · remote controlThe Haval H5 P04 is a ladder frame SUV with a tall, flat rear door, and it works for a living in Russia, Kazakhstan, the Middle East, North Africa and Australia. Because the panel is big and the hinge sits high, closing it by hand means reaching up and pulling down with real force, and the original gas struts weaken quickly under dust and heat. This kit mounts electric actuators on the original hinge and latch points and adds a controller, so the rear door lifts and lowers on command from the factory key or the door switch.
The actuator pair is specified for the heavier H5 panel, with an IP67 housing and a low speed final travel so the latch meets the striker without a slam. The body shell stays untouched: no drilling, no welding, no cutting of original wires, and the factory struts can be refitted if the vehicle is sold on.

Fitting steps
- Hold the rear door open, release both original gas struts from the ball studs and keep them for resale.
- Bolt the galvanised brackets in place and mount the motorised actuators in the same position and orientation.
- Run the harness along the factory loom through the tail gate grommet and connect it to the controller.
- Fit the dashboard button, store the opening height, cycle the door twice and confirm the anti pinch rebound.
Supply terms
Each set is split across two cartons per set: actuators in foam sleeves, controller and brackets in a labelled hardware bag, both inside a master carton of 86x26x25 cm. Units are cycled on the bench for force, current draw and rebound response before sealing. For importers and workshop chains we supply neutral cartons, private label printing, customer part numbers and manuals in English, Russian or Arabic, with spare actuators and controllers kept in stock so a service case is settled quickly.
