The Haval H2s is the sport trimmed version of the H2 compact SUV, and it sells well in Russia, Brazil, Chile and the Gulf states. Buyers there load the boot with luggage, tools or a folded stroller, and the stock tail door is a two hand job: one hand to pull the handle, one to push the panel up, and another to catch it when the struts are cold. Our retrofit swaps those gas struts for electric actuators with a controller, so the panel opens and closes from the factory remote or the rear handle, on the original hinge and latch points.
The sport trim runs a slightly heavier rear panel with a spoiler lip, so this kit uses a stronger actuator pair and a slower ramp at the last few centimetres, which keeps the door from dropping when the seal meets the body. Nothing on the shell is drilled, cut or welded, and the harness plugs into the factory connector, so a dealer can reverse the conversion before resale.

Installation route
- Prop the tail door, unclip both gas struts from the ball studs and keep the original parts for resale.
- Bolt the brackets on, then fit the electric actuators in the same orientation as the struts removed.
- Route the harness along the factory loom through the grommet and connect it to the controller.
- Fit the dash button, store the height limit, cycle the door twice and check the obstacle reverse.
Packing and trade support
Actuators travel in shaped foam inside an export carton of 83x24x22 cm, one set per carton and two cartons to a master carton, with fasteners bagged by mounting position and a printed guide in English, Russian or Spanish. Every set runs a bench cycle for force, current draw and reverse response before it is sealed. We support distributors with neutral packing, private label cartons, customer part numbers, translated manuals and spare actuators or controllers held in stock, so a warranty case is closed in days. Warranty covers 18 months against manufacturing defects.
