The rugged Haval Dargo, known in several export markets as the Haval Big Dog, is built with a tall square cut rear door that suits outdoor use but is heavy to handle by hand, particularly when it is loaded with camping or work gear. This electric trunk drive kit turns that door into a powered one: the factory gas struts are replaced by motorised units, a controller manages the travel, and the tail door opens or closes from the key remote, the rear handle or a switch installed in the cabin. Mounting follows the original hinge and latch points, so the shell is never cut or welded and the door keeps its factory lock.
The lift profile is tuned for a squared hatch, where air pressure builds quickly near the top of the stroke. Instead of fighting that pressure with extra force, the controller eases the door through the final section so the motion stays smooth and the seals are not stressed.
- Load sensing on the struts reverses the door immediately if an obstacle is detected at the closing edge.

Support the tail door, release both original struts, fit the supplied brackets and the motorised units, then run the harness alongside the factory loom to the module. The cabin button occupies a blank dash position. Finish by storing the stop height and cycling the door twice to verify the pinch guard.
