GWM HAVAL F7X · REMOTE CONTROL LIFT GATE OPEN RETROFITThe Haval F7x from 2024 is sold in many export markets under the GWM HAVAL F7X badge, and both versions share the same rear body and tailgate. This trunk drive kit turns that hand operated hatch into a powered one: the two original gas struts are replaced by motor driven units, a control module coordinates the movement, and the rear door opens or closes from the factory remote, the tailgate button or a switch installed in the cabin. The retrofit works with the stock hinge points, latch and lock, so nothing on the body shell is drilled, welded or repainted.
Since the F7x hatch is deep and fairly heavy, the actuator force curve is tuned so the door lifts evenly from the first centimetre instead of jumping at the top of the stroke. The brackets are produced for this hatch only, which keeps the trim gap consistent along the roof line.
- Pinch guard reverses the door as soon as load is sensed at the closing edge.
- Park signal interlock keeps the door still while the vehicle is moving.

Hold the hatch open with a prop, release both original struts from the ball studs, then fit the supplied brackets and the motorised units. The harness runs beside the factory loom to the control module, and the cabin switch takes the place of a blank panel. Finish by storing the stop height and cycling the door twice to check the pinch guard. A wiring diagram and photo guide are inside the carton, and installers can ask for a live video walkthrough on their first unit.
Each set ships in a printed carton with moulded foam around the struts, and fastener bags are labelled by mounting position. Every unit is bench tested for motor current, loom continuity and pinch guard response before packing.
