The Haval H6 II left the factory with a manual rear door, which means both hands are needed whenever the boot has to be loaded. This electric power tailgate lift kit removes that limitation by replacing the original gas struts with motor driven lift actuators, then adding a dedicated control module that talks to the vehicle through a plug and play harness. Once fitted, the rear door can be raised from the key fob, an in dash switch, the door handle itself, or simply by sweeping a foot under the rear bumper thanks to the included kick sensor. Everything is a true bolt on retrofit: no sheet metal cutting, no repainting, and no permanent change to the original wiring.
Every kit is assembled around a vehicle specific bracket set that has been test fitted on the H6 II body, so panel gaps and latch alignment stay exactly as they were from the factory. The motorised struts are calibrated to the weight of the H6 II tailgate, which gives a stable lift both empty and fully loaded.
- Foot kick sensor included: a low frequency sensor mounted behind the bumper reacts to a foot sweep, which is the fastest way to open the boot when both arms are full of luggage or shopping bags.
- Four ways to operate: original remote key, dashboard button, tailgate handle switch, and the hands free kick gesture all feed the same control module.
- Smart opening height memory: the maximum opening angle can be taught to the module, which keeps the door clear of low garage ceilings and underground car park beams.
- Soft start and soft stop: the struts ramp up and slow down at the end of travel, so there is no slam and no shock load on the hinges.
- Anti pinch protection: a Hall effect sensor watches strut resistance and reverses the door immediately if a hand, a pet or cargo is detected in the closing path.
- P gear interlock: the system reads the gear signal and only allows power operation when the vehicle is parked, ruling out accidental opening while driving.
- Manual fallback retained: the factory manual release still works, so the boot can be opened by hand if the vehicle battery is ever flat.

- Remove the original gas struts and transfer the mounting points to the supplied brackets.
- Fit the two motorised lift struts and torque the ball studs to the specified value.
- Route the plug and play harness along the existing factory loom and connect to the control module.
- Mount the kick sensor behind the rear bumper and calibrate the detection range.
- Teach the opening height limit, then run a full open and close cycle to verify the anti pinch response.
A printed wiring diagram and a photo instruction sheet are packed with every set. Our engineers also support installers by video call during the first fitting.
Each kit is packed in a printed colour box with EPE foam cradles for the struts, and every fastener bag is labelled with its position on the vehicle. Before shipment each set runs a bench test covering motor current draw, harness continuity, kick sensor trigger distance and anti pinch reversal.
