Hands Free Power Tailgate for DFSK 600 / Fengon 580 Mk2
One vehicle, two badges: the DFSK 600 and the Fengon 580 Mk2 share the same body and the same rear aperture. This kit serves both. It converts the manual boot lid into a powered one using two motorised struts, a controller wired into the factory loom, and a foot sensor that reads a deliberate kick. Fixings use the existing threaded points, so the conversion is reversible and leaves the paint untouched.
Two Names, One Kit
Distributors often stock the same hardware under both model names, so we print a neutral label and pack one bracket set that covers the Mk2 body. If an order is split between the two badges, tell us at the time of booking and both cartons will carry the correct documentation and fitting manual reference.

Sensor Behaviour
The capacitive strip sits behind the bumper skin and only reacts to a forward-and-back motion within its field. Rain, road spray, exhaust heat and small animals do not trigger it. Sensitivity can be set at installation from three levels; most fitters leave it on the middle setting, which suits both thin and heavy footwear. A two-second lockout after each command prevents double activation.

- Commands ignored unless the selector is in P and speed is zero.
- Manual release stays live at all times, including during a flat battery.
- Sleep state after 30 seconds idle keeps parasitic draw minimal.
Toolbox and Time
A 10 mm and 13 mm socket, a plastic trim wedge, side cutters for cable ties and a multimeter are enough. Plan 90 minutes for the first vehicle, 60 for the second, and 45 once the technician knows the routing. No welding, drilling or paint work is involved.

Cartons hold one set at 79 x 21 x 19 cm or two sets at 82 x 25 x 36 cm, foam lined with a moisture barrier bag. Fasteners are bagged by step.
