Power Tailgate Conversion Kit - DFSK Glory 580 / Fengon 580 Facelift
The facelift 580 kept the generous boot that made the original popular, but the tailgate is still all manual. Our conversion kit changes that with a matched hardware set: two motorised struts in place of the gas springs, a controller that reads the factory latch, and a loom that clicks into the body connector. Because every bracket follows the OEM hole pattern, the installation leaves no trace on the bodywork and can be undone in the same afternoon.
Facelift-Specific Detail
The facelift body uses a revised upper hinge and a different strut ball-stud position compared with the pre-facelift car. This kit ships with the facelift bracket pair and the corresponding actuator stroke, so the lid stops exactly where the factory design intends. If a buyer is unsure which body they have, a photo of the hinge area settles it, and we will swap the bracket set before dispatch at no charge.
Retrofit Scope
- Powered open and close from the remote key, a cabin switch, the rear handle or a foot sensor.
- Anti-pinch reversal based on motor current and hall sensing, reacting in a fraction of a second.
- Two stored open heights for garages, canopies and car washes.
- Cushioned final travel so the latch engages quietly and the seals are spared.
- Gear interlock that blocks commands unless the selector sits in P.

Packing
One set per foam-lined carton at 79 x 21 x 19 cm, two sets at 82 x 25 x 36 cm, both with a moisture barrier bag. Fasteners are grouped by installation step so the technician works straight down the manual instead of sorting bolts on the floor.
