Operating Behaviour
Open or close from the remote, the cabin switch, the rear handle or a foot movement under the bumper. The panel accelerates gently, runs at constant speed and finishes with a cushioned close so the latch is guided in rather than slammed. If the lid meets resistance, the module stops and reverses; if the selector is not in P, the command never executes. Two height limits can be stored, which helps with basement parking and low workshop roller doors. In sleep mode the system draws less than 0.1A.

Fitting Notes
Access to the upper strut mounts requires removing the rear pillar trim, which clips out without tools beyond a plastic wedge. The third row of seats does not need to come out. Route the harness along the existing tailgate loom, secure it with the supplied ties every 200 mm, and keep clear of the hinge sweep. After the electrical work, run the two-cycle learning routine with the tailgate fully open, then store the height limit that suits the owner. First-time fitting takes around 90 minutes.
Service and Spares
Each set is bench tested before packing: motor load, stroke timing, latch handshake, reversal force and sensor threshold.
