Electric Tailgate Retrofit for DFSK Glory E3 / Fengon 500
A sedan boot lid feels light on paper and heavy in practice once the springs age. This retrofit returns the convenience: the Glory E3 and Fengon 500 rear deck opens and closes under motor power from the original key fob, a cabin button or a foot movement behind the rear bumper. The kit is supplied as a matched set, so brackets, actuator stroke and firmware are all correct for the vehicle out of the box.
Fitment Coverage
One part number serves the DFSK Glory E3 and the Dongfeng Fengshen Fengon 500, which share the same rear deck geometry. Left-hand and right-hand drive bodies use identical components. Electrical Notes
The loom plugs into the body connector behind the left rear trim; no wire is cut and no fuse is relocated. The module takes a permanent live, an ignition reference and the latch signal, and returns a status line to the dash button LED. Because the factory latch motor stays in circuit, central locking, alarm arming and the emergency release all continue to work as designed. A 15A fuse is supplied for the new circuit and should be fitted at the battery terminal block.
