Power Tailgate Upgrade for the GAC Trumpchi GS7
The GS7 is a large five-seat SUV with a tall, wide rear door. This upgrade converts the manual tailgate into a powered one, keeping the original latch, lock and alarm behaviour intact.
Specification Led Design
Actuators are rated 600 N per side for the GS7 lid mass, with 370 mm of stroke and a clutch that allows hand operation when the system is off. The module supports four input channels, and an optional kick sensor bar adds a fifth for foot-gesture opening.

Fitment Notes
Brackets are handed cast steel, shaped for the GS7 hinge points and clear of the factory spoiler. The harness follows the existing hatch loom into the body through the original grommet, and the module mounts behind the rear quarter trim away from the drain path. Bracket bolts at 22 Nm, ball studs at 18 Nm.
Fitting Time
Rear trim removal and strut swap 45 minutes, bracket mounting 25 minutes, harness routing and module 35 minutes, self-learn and height setting 20 minutes. Total roughly two hours for a first car.
Packing and Commercial Terms
Carton 86 x 25 x 22 cm, one set per carton, four cartons per master. Actuators sleeved in EPE, hardware counted and bagged by side, module in a rigid insert, manual and wiring diagram included. Export cartons can carry buyer SKU, barcode and market-language label. Mixed orders with other Trumpchi references are accepted, and we consolidate per model to keep container loading efficient.
