Electric Tailgate Retrofit Kit for the GAC Trumpchi GS4 II
Second-generation GS4 cars use a revised hinge position and a different boot loom length from the first generation. This kit is built to that layout: the brackets land on GS4 II factory holes and the harness arrives at the right length without adapters.
Generation Check
Please confirm the generation before ordering. GS4 II cars are identified by the redesigned tailgate skin and the changed hinge casting; the first-generation GS4 needs a separate reference. Mixing the two results in bracket misalignment, which is why we keep them as distinct SKUs.

Fitting Steps
Take out the hatch trim and the quarter panel clips, release the gas struts, mount the marked brackets, fit the actuators, route the harness through the factory grommet, connect the plugs, then run the self-learn cycle and store the opening height. Bracket bolts at 22 Nm. About 100 minutes for a first car.
Packing and Service
Carton 81 x 23 x 20 cm, one set per carton, five cartons per master carton. Actuators in EPE sleeves, hardware bagged by side, module in a rigid insert. Spare actuators, modules and switches stay in stock for the warranty period, and fitting questions are answered in English by e-mail or video.
Distributor Notes
Because first and second generation GS4 demand runs in parallel in most export markets, we recommend stocking both references. Mixed orders are accepted and carton labels can show generation codes to prevent a workshop mixing the two on the shelf.
