Smart Tailgate Kit for the GAC Trumpchi Empow Sedan
Sedans are the segment where a power boot still feels like a luxury. This kit brings it to the Empow: the boot lid lifts on a key press and closes on a key press, with a soft latch pull at the end instead of a slam.
Why Fit One to a Sedan
A sedan boot lid is loaded with shopping, laptops and travel cases several times a day, and it is usually reached in tight parking bays where the lid cannot be swung open by hand. With this kit the lid travels on its own, stops at a stored height, and never needs to be forced shut with a palm print.

Installation
Two bolts per bracket, both on factory hinge points. The harness runs along the boot hinge arm and enters the body through the original grommet, ending in plugs that mate with the Empow loom. A fuse tap in the cabin box supplies power and the module sits behind the rear trim panel. First fit takes around 100 minutes.
Packing and Support
Carton size 76 x 21 x 18 cm, one set per carton, six cartons per master. Actuators are sleeved in EPE, brackets and hardware are bagged by side, and a printed manual with a wiring schematic is included. We stock replacement actuators and modules for the warranty term and answer fitting questions in English by e-mail or video.
