Retrofit Auto Power Tailgate for the GAC Trumpchi Emkoo
The Emkoo is a compact SUV with a wide, slightly raked rear door. This kit replaces its gas springs with electric actuators and adds a control module, giving the owner key-operated opening, powered closing and a soft latch finish.
Product Summary
Designed as a dealer-level retrofit, the kit bolts to the factory hinge points, plugs into the existing boot loom and needs no cutting, welding or painting. The original latch, central locking and alarm logic keep working, and the manual release remains available at all times.

Fitment Guide
The brackets are handed and marked L / R. On the Emkoo the rear headliner trim and the quarter panel clip off with standard plastic tools, after which the factory strut ball studs are reused. Torque specification is 22 Nm on the bracket bolts. A first-time fit takes about two hours; repeat units run shorter.
Packing
Carton size 82 x 23 x 21 cm, one vehicle set per carton. Actuators sit in moulded pulp, the module is packed separately inside the carton, and hardware is counted into three numbered bags. Four cartons go into a master carton for container loading, and customer labels can be printed on request.
Buyer Questions
Does it void the warranty? The kit is a bolt-on accessory that leaves the body and wiring untouched, so factory warranty on unrelated systems is normally unaffected. Local rules should always be checked by the buyer.
Can it be fitted to LHD and RHD cars? The Emkoo kit covers both layouts since the hinge geometry is mirrored.
