Automatic Power Tailgate Trunk Boot Kit for the GAC Aion S Max
A complete powered boot system for the Aion S Max sedan. The original gas springs come off, two electric actuators go in, and a control unit adds key, switch and handle commands plus a soft final latch pull.
1. Powered Opening and Closing
The actuators run the door through the full arc at a steady speed, then slow down before the latch. Once closed, the module confirms the lock state, so the car reports a shut boot on the dashboard exactly as before.
2. Soft Close Final Pull
Instead of dropping the last few centimetres, the system pulls the lid in under motor control. Wear on the latch and the rubber seals drops sharply, which matters on cars that open and close the boot dozens of times a day.
3. Contact Safety
Dual hall sensors watch the position while a current monitor watches the load. Any abnormal value stops the actuator and sends it back, and three short beeps sound before every movement so people standing behind the car are warned.
4. Everyday Control Points
Factory remote button, dashboard switch, tailgate handle and an optional foot sensor can all start the sequence. Height can be stored so the door stops below a low ceiling or a garage door frame.
5. Vehicle Fitment
Brackets, actuator length and harness routing are prepared for the Aion S Max. The kit uses the factory hinge points and the existing boot loom grommet, and the latch, central lock and alarm stay original.

Packing & Service
Each set ships in a 79 x 22 x 20 cm carton with double EPE wrapping, a rigid insert for the module and numbered hardware bags. Two cartons fit in a master carton. Manuals in English, wiring diagrams and spare actuators are available through the warranty period.
